{INFORMATION}

I am a natural light photographer, which means I only use available natural light. Session times are set according to when the light is best - early morning (before noon) & early evening for outdoor sessions. I do not bring studio equipment or fancy lights to your session - it’s simply me & my camera. For newborn sessions I will typically walk around your home to find the room(s) with the best available light. Don't be alarmed if I ask to move small furniture or open window treatments, I promise to help you put your house back together when we are done.

{CHILD/FAMILY SESSION}
Gummy smiles & belly laughs are what I live for, they make my heart soar & there is nothing I enjoy capturing more than littles in their element. Everything about their young life is beautiful. You will love the look of photographs infused with the personality of your own home, backyard, or your favorite park. Children are more at ease when working around their time, allowing them to play and explore - I want to document the moment, not set up the perfect shot.

{GRADUATE SESSION}
Your senior portrait is one othe most important personal pictures you'll ever have taken. It defines who you are as an individual & projects who you aspire to be as you embark upon your future. Graduate sessions are all about capturing your personality. You have your own style, interests & dreams. Bring along your family, your friends, your dog or anything that represents the person inside...let's get creative & capture how unique you truly are.

{ENGAGEMENT SESSION}
Stylized, personalized & romantic, this is your first opportunity to present yourselves to the world as a union. You’re head over heels in love! You want to shout it from the rooftops & I want to see it come across in your images. Just be yourselves - whether that be romantic, fierce, or completely goofy – I want to get to know you as a couple. Grasp tightly to the days of pillow talk & sweet nothings & just be, simply in love.

{TRASH THE DRESS SESSION}
The idea behind TTD is for a bride to literally trash her dress after the wedding day. Afraid to trash your dress? There are different levels of dress trashing & you can choose if you want to destroy it (in water, mud, paint, etc.) or if you simply want to get a second chance to wear your dress & get unique photos before packing it away. It doesn't matter when you got married...last week, last year, or 10+ years ago...it's never too late to trash your dress.

{MATERNITY SESSION}
You are about to bring a little more beauty & sweetness into the world. Maternity sessions are a chance to begin documenting your baby’s life with the memories of when you first fell in love with him or her. Pregnancy is such a special time for a woman, for a family, & it passes so quickly. Two months prior to your due date is typically the right time to celebrate your curves. Since bellies grow at different rates, book a tentative date & keep me updated as you grow.

{BIRTH SESSION}
It’s the most important day of your baby’s life. No matter where or how you give birth, when you have a baby, the memories of that day will be the most compelling & precious memories you'll ever have. Capturing them is a once in a lifetime opportunity - the photographs from your labor & delivery will be as intimate & private as you feel comfortable with. As a mother of two, I know from experience how quickly birthing day passes & how fast the memories fade.

{NEWBORN SESSION}
The entry of a new baby into the world is a beautiful & miraculous time. From sleepy yawns to wrinkled & flaky skin, newborns are best captured while they are still bendy and super sleepy (up to 14 days). Expect your newborn session to last up to 3 hours, additional time is allotted for meeting your baby’s needs throughout the shoot. I am comfortable handling newborns & encourage you to take our session time as an opportunity to relax.

After our session I’ll spend up to two weeks editing & enhancing your images in my digital darkroom. Once I am done with the post-processing steps to prepare your images for web viewing & ordering, an e-mail will be sent enabling you to view your images in an online proofing gallery. You will then have 30 days to submit your order back to me. The creation of prints can take up to 4-6 weeks, possibly longer when laboratory schedules are heavy. My goal is to give you & your family an enjoyable photography experience along with beautiful pieces of art that you will be proud to display in your home for years to come.

*Please note that this is just a guideline on time, the developing & ordering process is typically much shorter.
